The e-slimcase or trigger case is the basic case at the heart of the ejector product family. With the slimcase, the CD/DVD is stored suspended within the case. Clamping arms gently hold it in place by its outer edge without placing stress on the data media, thereby avoiding data loss. Automatic ejection by simply pressing on the trigger/lever allows the CD/DVD to be removed without touching the data-bearing area. This gentle handling of the storage media ensures the data-bearing area remains undamaged, even after frequent use. This packaging has been awarded the 'Worldstar Packaging Award,' amongst others.
